Code of conduct

Tesria wants to be a project anyone can take part in: asking a question, reporting a bug, or proposing a change. That only works if people are treated well, so everyone taking part agrees to this.

What we expect

• Be kind and patient, especially with people who are new. Everyone was once.

• Disagree about ideas, not people. Assume good intent, and say what you think plainly and politely.

• Take criticism of your work gracefully, and give it carefully.

• Own your mistakes, and help put them right.

What is not acceptable

• Harassment, insults, or demeaning remarks about anyone, for any reason, including who they are or where they come from.

• Sexual language or attention, threats, and encouraging anyone to harm themselves.

• Publishing someone’s private information without their permission.

• Continuing something after being asked to stop.

Where it applies

Everywhere the project is: its repository, issues and pull requests, its discussions, and anywhere you represent it.

Reporting a problem

Write to the address in Security with [tesria conduct] in the subject, saying what happened and where. Reports are read by the maintainer, kept confidential, and answered.

Depending on what happened, the response may be a private word, a public warning, or a ban from the project’s spaces, for a time or for good.
