Email notifications

Everything that arrives in the bell can come by email as well, so you hear about a comment or a mention without having Tesria open. Choose how in the Email notifications card on your profile.

To get there, open your profile (your picture or initials at the top right of any page) and scroll to its Email notifications card.

• What you are told about is the same as in the bell, and is set by what you watch. See Watching.

• Your Tesria has to send email. If it does not yet, the card says so. Your choice is kept, and applies once an administrator sets up email (see Email (SMTP)). Nothing more than a day old is sent then, so turning email on does not bring a flood of old news.

• Administrators always get security alerts by email, whatever they choose here.
