Getting started

This section takes you from “what is this?” to a Tesria of your own with its first page written. Nothing here assumes you have run a server before: each page explains what a thing is before asking you to do it.

Read the pages in order the first time:

1. What is Tesria: what a wiki is, and why a team would run its own.

2. Prerequisites: what to have ready, and the few decisions to think about.

3. System requirements: how big a computer Tesria needs, and which browsers it works in.

4. Quick start: installing Tesria and starting it for the first time.

5. First-run setup wizard: the guided setup that creates your account and asks the important questions.

6. Your first space and page: writing something, and inviting the people who will read it.
